We at dogslife want to ensure that we are providing grants to individuals or families who are providing their dog with a loving home and who truly do not have the financial resources available at the time that their dog requires critical cancer-treatment. Therefore, we will require very detailed documentation that demonstrates your current hardship as well as ownership of your dog including proof of income and veterinarian records.
Once your application, including the all supporting documents, is received, we will begin our review process. For more information about our review process, please visit our FAQ page.
Please note that at this time we are only approving applications for dogs being treated by board certified oncologists in the north and central Texas area.
If your application is preliminarily accepted, we may request additional documents and/or information for review and will perform a background check
If after review of all documents you qualify for assistance, we will contact your primary veterinarian, as well as your diagnosing board certified oncologist, to obtain additional information
After receiving all necessary documentation from both you and the veterinary providers, we will make a decision as to whether or not we will be able to provide financial assistance for your dog's cancer treatment
