Rex
Rex is always on alert, letting us know when anything is going on outside. He is like Lassie, he gets our attention and leads us to where the excitement is. If we don't come right then, he runs back inside barks and glares at us. Rex has an internal clock, he knows they get a snack at 3 pm and he won't let us forget it.
We have always had a love for dogs. Joey and I had many dogs growing up. We have human kids but when they got grown and moved out, our dogs became our kids. We have never dealt with a horrible disease in one of our babies until now. Rex went from a very active boy to having nose bleeds from wheezing and not being able to breathe. On first visit to our doctor, they thought it might be a polyp. We had no idea it would be cancer.
We had no idea there were charities to help with treatment. When talking to PetCure office, I asked and was told about Dogslife.org. We talked to the Dr. about it and he told us there was a good chance ya'll would help. Thankfully we got your help. You don't know how much we appreciate this. We are looking forward to Rex getting his treatment and becoming his spunky self again.
